Doggies And Beer Mixing On Chattanooga's Johnson Street On The Southside

Friday, August 18, 2017 - by Gail Perry

Robert Poore has been given a beer permit for a business that is a new concept in Chattanooga. Play* Wash* Pint, located at 113 Johnson St., will be a place that dog owners can hang-out with their dogs and have a beer.

Owners must sign a waiver to let their dog run around off-leash, he said. There will be three yards, one for small dogs, one a “social mixer,” and a “fetch zone.” There will be non-alcoholic “dog beer” available, made from chicken and beef broth.

Johnson Street is off Main Street on the Southside.

Keveon Kennebrew was approved for a beer permit for HB Lounge, 2716 Dodson Ave. This will be a bar for ages 30 and older, and he said that printed on the door is the message that no one under 21 is allowed - no exceptions.
